i have a neww hp 6000d comp and a new samsung 511 inch dlp they both have computer monitur inputs so when i connect the wire my tv says searching for signal so i know my tv dects my computer but when i put it into the computer it dosent dect the tv so there is no pic and my tv eventually says no signal found so how can i get this to work thank you actually if u need more info such as modle numbers let me know thank you

There is an icon on the F4 or F5 keys that look like a monitor, press the fn key and that key at the same time after connecting and turning on the TV, the display should work then.

TV is searching but not finding because it sees no signal on the channnel it is checking out. If on the correct channel (usually TV channel 3) It would detect a signal. The computer must have TV Out to send the correct format TV signal (monitor resolution is different). The monitor resolution may have a switch to change the resolution.
