first response is supposed to give you an accurate reading on the first day of your missed period which would have been the 14th of this month but how regular are you???? i would see a gp if i were you not only to set your mind at rest but at around 15 quid a go that's an awful lot of money on tests

How long is your cycle?

If you test with first response 4 days BEFORE your period you only have 54% to 64% chance of getting a definite answer.

They say wait two weeks after your period should have come, then do a test.

You haven't given your length of your cycle so its hard to work out.

Wait a couple of days, as in dome people it takes longer for the pregnancy hormone to rise, then do another test.

If you still have a negative go to your doctors and ask for a blood test. These are more efficient and can detect earlier than a hpt.

Good luck and fingers crossed!

Well, first of all, you shouldn't be trying to create another human being if you're under the provision of marriage. That's one of the benefits of marriage. It gives children legitimacy when they're born, so they are not all bastards, like is some broke down third world toilet around the world. You do want your child to be legit don't you? Of course you do. But now to the question at hand. Yes, if you've had that much unprotected sexual intercourse, you most likely are knocked up. It happens. And all the cute little tests in the world cant tell you if you are or not. Just know that you've created a life sentence for yourself and him, even though you're both probably waaaaay to young for that kind of responsibility.

Hi,

think you might have missed your ovulation - if you have a 28 day cycle you should ovulate around 28/29 February - sperm can survive for up to 5 days I think but you would have a better chance to have sex bang on ovulation (pardon the pun).

The best thing for you to do is to buy an ovulation urine kit - dead cheap on ebay - next day delivery - this will tell you exactly when you are ovulating and you can then know your best chances of getting pregnant. it will also let you know when in your cycle you ovulate - alot of people don't ovulate until day 20 or later - so this is your starting block!

All the best - good luck!

Have you tried a different type of pregnancy test? When I thought I was pregnant I did two tests and both came out negative. I then went and got a digital one and it was positive. If you have done this then maybe go and see your doctor.
