The leak could possibly be from a hose in the bottom of the machine that supplies water to the machine tub,it is usually clamped on with an adjustable clamp that may have come loose because of the viberation that occurs during spin cycle.i think the only way to see that hose is to turn the machine on its side exposing the bottom.

my husband is a plumber and says to first turn the water shut off valves off behind the washer they will ether turn a half turn or if theres a bib then you will have to turn them to the right untell they stop this will insure that your water is off and you can now check for any visable leaks such as the water hoses in the back that connect to the wash mach. make sure that they are connected tight by putting a wrench to the nuts and tightning them to the right again remember this when tightning anything righty tighty lefty loosey all right now if that does not fix the problem then check to see if theres water are moister around the bibs i asked you to tighten if so it might be the packing nuts if you fill comfortable doing so you can tighten these nuts to this is a nut that is located under the handles that i said to turn off all you need to do is give them a qurter turn and that will stop them from leaking if its none of these problems dont bother calling a plumber he will not be able to help you and you will end up paying him a 100 buck then youll have to call a appliance tech now if shutting off the water stops the problem then continue with the suggestion i said if not then you might have a plumbing leak behind the wall then i suggest calling a plumber as soon as possible but if it stops the problem then you can wait tell tommorow to call a plumber becouse if you call tonight your going to be spending 2 to 3 times more on an emergency call so youll need to decide if its an emergency are not please if you dont feel comfortable doing the thing i suggested dont do it and call a proffesinal.
my husband would only charge $85.00 for a normal call like this but if you called him tonight he would charge around $200.00 for waking him up so i hope i helped

Check the hoses both coming from the water supply and going into the washer. I have had this happen and it was nothing more than a worn out hose washer. Good luck

I am sorry that you are having trouble with your washer. I don't have any advice about the washer, I do, however have advice about your question, and perhaps your self esteem...Please don't ever say that you are a female and that is why you don't understand something. Your gender has nothing to do with what you know. I am sure there are men out there who would not know either ( my ex husband for instance... ) OK, so you don't know how to fix your washer, maybe all you know how to do with your washer is load it and run it, but PLEASE don't set the rest of woman kind back with statements like that...

be sure the hoses are tight and not leaking. they just last so many years.. if the washer sits where it could freeze there is something inside that can burst as it keeps a little water in it...call a professional to check it out, and be sure he gives you a price to check..some of them charge unfair amounts to just look...

FIND OUT IF IT LEAKS WHEN IT IS BEING FILLED OR ALL THE TIME, IF IT LEAKS WHEN BEING FILLED IT IS THE WATER SOLENOID FREQUENTLY HAPPENS WHEN YOU ONLY SUPPLY ONE WATER HOSE INSTEAD OF TWO HOT AND COLD. OR A HOSE FROM THE SOLENOID TO THE TUB. THAT IS THE MOST COMMON LEAK IN A WASHER MACHINE.
GOOD LUCK

If you don't see anything visible with the hoses or hose connections it is probably the tub. The tub is usually metal with a granite coating. The granite probably got chipped at one time or another and the metal has rusted through. If this is the case there is nothing you can do besides replace it.

because its a front load washer i would say its the door gasket --- i replaced mine by going online to the maker and ordering the part --- make sure and fix this problem right away or water could ruin circuit board -- good luck

you could have many problems that could cause a leak..could be drain hose or broke clamps ...could be filler hose.... could be hoses that circulate water during wash cycle...or it could be the pump..... or drum seals,,,if you don't know anything about a washer or you are unable to disassemble the machine i would recommend you get a service man to do this for you....

i comprehend this sounds stupid, yet you should be making use of too plenty cleansing soap powder. If there isn't sufficient clothing for the cleansing soap powder then there's a large style of extra bubble creation. I dont comprehend how, however the bubbles finally block the pipes and it overflows. I haven't any technical awareness of machines in any respect, yet i presumed my washer replaced into broken and the call out guy charged me £80 to tell me that if i replaced into putting on a 0.5 load I might desire to in basic terms use 0.5 the quantity of cleansing soap powder. I felt slightly stupid and replaced into shocked it replaced into some thing to do with the powder, because of the fact the water were pouring everywhere in the floor so i replaced into helpful the ingredient replaced into knackered !! thank you :o)
