well, "hisself" or "his-self" with a hyphen is very much a real word with an old and well established pedigree going back to the 1400's, but it is not a word used much nowadays except in certain dialects and playing scrabble.
"himself" is safer.

No, "hisself" is not a word. "Himself" is a verb, but even "himself" would not flow well in this sentence. How about "He whirled around his brother"... In writing, it is better not to be wordy. That's why the computer changes it when you write "The ball bounced off of the wall" (it changes it to "The ball bounced OFF the wall").
