There is a new writing group for romance writers at www.groups.yahoo.com/groups/erotic-romance-writers-critique-club

I also have my own website that lets people get to know me and my work check it out.

since each and everyday thousands of websites are being created it is really impossible to state which is the latest in whatever aspect you are asking. But since you have your own websites mentioned , it is really great !!!!

Just understand one thing - posting your work on the internet is asking to be plagerized. Sure, legally you own your work the minute you write it, but fighting plagerism is a long and expensive process. As I always say, it's like putting a buffet out on your front lawn -- anyone who walks by can help themself to a chicken wing. I got burned once - had a wonderful story stolen. Now, I post nothing online except a few stories for friends in a passworded site. Announcing your site here and giving your name are very dangerous practices. Too many kids give too much information about themselves out over the net. Dont you watch Dateline? Please reconsider. Pax - C.

persiphone is right. unless you are an already published author (in book for, not the net) i'd be a little skeptical about posting things on the net. it's a lot easier for poepl to take your idea if you're not already published than if you are! of course i'm ind of being a bit of a hypocrite saying that, since i do have writings posted on a writing page (elfwood) but i don't really have that much posted, nor do i really care if someone takes an idea. i'm not writing to be published, and all my stuff is REALLY old and crappy, and no one ever reads it...but still. if you plan on being published, i would definitley not post your work, as it could get plagiarised quite easily.
on another note...a writing group sounds cool!!! too bad i don't write romance..................
