OK.........
you can do this with your own windows features..... go to 1.control panel
2.user accounts
3.create a password
4.type your password
5.then turn the Guest account on and change it to limited.
6.done....hope!

another way
1.it works only if your partitions are NTFS not FAT
2. to check if NTFS.... right click on the partition that contains files you want to secure.
3.if NTFS... enter the partition......
4.click tools in the upper panel
5.Folder options
6.View
7.and uncheck the last sentence.
8.OK
9.R click on the folder you want to secure
10.properties
11.security.
12.advanced
13.check the box behind a sentence contains inherit..blabla
14.yes
15.OK
16.OK
17.done.......notice that this way closes the folder completely and no one will be able to open it...(you can by unchecking the box behind the inherit..blabla............)

the first way makes folders and files accessible but undeletable and unmovable......bye

you could buy a simple kid's computer - meant for little ones just learning. I wouldn't let him touch a real one without direct supervision. There is too much of a chance that he could damage a file or program.

Maybe take him to the park - computers are over rated. Hmmm.... *walks away from computer*

Set him up a "Limited Account" (in the Control Panel) and use http://www.cyberpatrol.com 's free trial so you ensure it doesn't go on anything harmful.
