A friend you once thought you liked but know that you really just like as a friend, IMs you at midnight and says he stranded 500 miles away from you but 2500 from his home, there are no flights out for 36 hours. You know that if you go there your boyfriend who you really love very much will be pissed and probably think the worst. If you don't that friend is stranded far from home alone,

Go get him and be a TRUE friend! liking him has nothin to do with it!!! why cant your bf go with you? if he doesnt understand explain to him why he shouldnt be jealous and not to question your integrity! Remember friends are forever!

Unless the stranded friend was on his way to see you, why now are you the solution to his problem?
My dad use to say to me I am not the cause or the solution to your problem, it use to infuriate me.
If forced me to put better plans in place and also search for solutions, that I would not have found if my dad continued to spoon feed me answers.
Your friend has a problem , yes but unless his life is on the line, it is time for him to learn a valuable lesson.

Invite your boyfriend to come along because you should never leave a friend hanging. And if your boyfriend can not understand that then he is not a man.
