My Microwave will not heat anything.I tryed cleaning it,it worked for about 2 minutes and then wouldent work again.If it is broken,What brand should I buy and how much should I spend?

In the event the wall plugs check out ok, if you can plug it in somewhere else and it runs then maybe it's ok. If it runs and fails to heat the item inside, then the magnatron tube is most likely at fault. They're quite expensive and not worth the repair cost. Don't know what type of dept. stores you have in your neck of the woods, but Walmart's and Meijer's sell microwaves for, $40 to $80. You can get an 800 to 1000 watt unit, which should heat anything you'd want.

Check your wall plugs first. I just had that hapen to me and come to find out 1 of the wires behind the plug in was cracked , it works fine after replacing the plug in.
