As an independent who is more concerned about the country than any political party, Yes, you better believe it i'd still support the subpoenas. My question is what is Bush trying so hard to hide?

The subpoenas that the Republicans issued Clinton were a $42 million witch hunt. At least his people testified under oath. They probably had nothing to hide.

What if Bush were a Democrat?Would the Republicans mount the same argument they did in 1994,that Executive Privilege is just a smoke screen to avoid testimony under oath?

My opinion does not change. If the shoe were on the other foot you bet I would support the subpoenas. Wrong is wrong regardless of party.

Yes Sir...something is amiss. They are innocent until found guilty. Subpoenas are part of the fact finding process, before trial.

yup. even though politics is obviously a big part of how federal prosecutors are handled, the fact is that gonzales and bush fumbled their handling of this one. if they had done it differently there would be no outcry. regardless of whether he is demo or repub i still would like to think that prosecutors are free from politics so yes i would support it.
