Why don't we try answering questions instead of passing judgement on the person asking?
Maybe then people would actually be educated AND we would not have to resort to mudslinging, insulting, snitching, or being condenscending?

As for those that are actually kids being silly trolls why not treat them as silly kids?

What I mean is address the issues at hand. That will mean putting your issues down for a moment. Opening your mind...and giving an honest unbiased answer.

You are 100% correct. I have also found that when you answer someone question with respect you are more likely to be picked as the best answer. Which will get you more points. Maybe we should ask ourselves why do we want more points.

Precisely, but what goes up must come down right? So if someone is unduly disregardful, people's annoyance is more than justified. Not everyone can be goody two shoes to people who show little respect. So, the question of being the educated lot does not really hold true. Sometimes, we have stoop to the levels we never imagined ourselves just get our point square and fair. If someone has a problem with that, well, it's what they asked for in the first place.

We always address the issues at hand, even when they involve a person who spreads anti-LGBT hatred and bigotry.

Yahoo sometimes pulls such hate speech, since it is against their TOS.

Some people just cannot be educated, and resort to the methods described. Others can.
