Most front wheel drive cars are good in the snow. But, nothing beats a good pair of chains either. They real easy to put on once you learn and make a world of difference in snow and ice.

Hi Not sure if they offer an all wheel drive or not, but in your circumstances you might look for that feature...esp with 2 kids to think about... Most front wheel drives are pretty good in snow, the real challenge to all cars is being able to stop where you want to....take care and good luck to you....

Absolutely. Altimas are very solid, front-wheel drive, mid-size vehicles with plenty of horsepower to bust through snowy roads. Plus, I believe the 2007 offers traction control.

I have a 2006 Altima 2.5s but I live on the California coast where there's no snow.. It really depends on what kind of tires you have.

I believe Altimas are front wheel drive. If that is true, front wheel drive automobiles are great in the snow.
