If the government made a law that you could not own a car where you lived, and your spouse needed to stay because of their job and to keep the kids in a good school, - would you move out in order to live where you could own a car, or sell it and stay as a family?

As long as public transportation was available, bicycles, and perhaps even motorcycles, then I could get by. I like where I live. ☺

Cars are cool, but family is cooler. A car is an awesome thing to have, but your family loves you. You all make each other naturally content. A car can't wake you up to a smiling face of a child or a loving wife. You should keep your family for that is more important and worth while.

Gosh, that doesn't need much thought!
Who would give up a family for a car?!
What's wrong with public transport or LEGS?
The whole point would be to reduce the harmful fumes in the atmosphere and encourage exercise.. I'd think it a good thing.

Unless this is a joke.. in that case.. yeah, drop the family and get a ferarri!

You no bros before hos? well same situation, your family is like the bros and the car is like the hos. Your family is way more important than some dumb car. If this ever happened, anyone who had to ask themselves this question might as well as leave their family because its clear that they mean nothing to you.

Sell it. Cars and jobs come and go, but family should always be there.

Gee, this is tough. My car is a 1965, I married my wife in 1971 and the kids are newer than that. So, should it be "last hired, first fired" or "hang onto the new"?

Yeah, this is a tough question...

Sell the car. I don't think cars are more important than people.
