When this happens to me, i make sure that i have something hot (like a well wrung out cloth or a heat pad) on my lower back. I also take medication formulated for period cramps, and go to the toilet frequently to "mop up" (this helps me (psychologically) stop feeling so icky). Directing a shower onto your painful bits, or a long bath might also help. Also, sometimes, if i have a chance, i will also sneak away for a masturbation session (this helps the blood flow quicker, and (for me) helps ease the cramps).
I understand full well how severe the pain is! good luck!

I'm 24 years old and I get horrible cramps. I have tried everything underneath the sun for the time of the month and nothing worked. I gave up on birth controls and Advil due to my stomach issues and everything made it worse. I got sick from it. I have been going gluten free for 2 1/2 years and since I have cut gluten out of my diet my cramps seems to be better! Also I eat ginger chews and have turmeric tea and ginger tea. It truly helps with your time of the month! Good luck and I hope you can find some relief. I know how you feel.

I'm not a big fan of taking any drugs at all, so I try to find other ways to cope as opposed to Advil, Motrin, etc.
Sometimes, depending on the weather (when it's not too hot), I'll use a hot water bottle on my abdomen, and just sleep it off if time allows.
Another way to deal with it, especially when I'm getting that terrible, murderous cramping, is to either get on the bed or the floor, and get in the 'cat stretch' position. http://www.seabuckthornthai.com/images/1133239652/cat_stretch.gif
Because abdominal cramps are basically (from what I've read) contractions of the uterus, when you get your body in this position, you allow your uterus to hang, and you don't feel the pain half as much, from my experience.
Fortunately, I've never had to deal with the leg and lower back pain. Good luck with that...

My wife is answering this one:
I don't suggest taking Midol or Pamprin they give me nightmares! The pharmacist says that they are usually only good for bloating anyway! Try advil as soon as the pain starts ans continue to take them every 6-8 hours, I have a magic bag that I put in the microwave for 2.5 minutes and sit with that as well. If you don't have a magic bag a hot water bottle or heating pad will work too. Oh, playtex has these new sticky hot pads for your undies that are portable and totally unnoticable as well. Hope this helps.

The usual things such as midol and heating pad or hot water bottle have helped me but I have started drinking ginger tea for a few days starting the day or so before my period starts. It has helped me a great deal. Good luck.

Raspberry leaf tea (not to be confused with raspberry flavored tea). I'm serious -- this should relieve cramps and can even lighten the flow of your period.

No what you have written is not correct but it can never be wrong also. You have a problem in real, simply expression is otherwise. 3 things
1. You should take Vitamin B1+B6+B12 injectable combination for one month one weekly.
2. IBUPROPHEN+PARACITAMOL 8hrly till symptom dis appears.
3. Take a good haematinic with folic acid or you can take Folic Acid only.

midol is great.
if it is really this bad you may have ppmd not pms.
i know you say period pain, so you may not think it is pms, but pms symptoms carry into the time of your period. ask your doctor.
