when do osteoblasts become osteocytes?

Im stuck between 2 answers.....hopefully someone out there can help me out.....Is it a.) when they begin secreting organic substances or b.) when their secretions become mineralized

It's B. Osteocytes live in bone, osteoblasts make bone. To live in bone, the bone must...well, it must be bone.

Osteoclasts, on the other hand, eat bone so that it can be reformed.
