I don't, but I didn't use to care if it were legalized. My current girlfriend use to smoke weed everyday for years. Now she only does it every once and a while, but the thought of her smoking it even every once and a while infuriates me. I don't want here to ever smoke again. Is it wrong for me to feel this way?

Marijuana is much less harmful than cigarettes and alchohol, both of which are legal and readily available. There have been NO cases of deaths related to weed, and yet, on the flip side, thousands of people die yearly from the use or abuse of cigarettes and alchohol. Marijuana helps people with AIDS wasting syndrome and cancer eat, it helps with glaucoma, with spasms related to Multiple Sclerosis, and many other neurological disorders. The reason that marijuana is not legal and these other things are is very simple: Money. The government makes so much money off of marijuana arrests, that they won't legalize it. Marijuana has many valuable uses. Hemp is an environmentally sustainable product with a low impact on the environment. It grows in the ground, and was not man made. This is a natural product, and there is nothing wrong with it. Also, if she smoked when you met her, and you didn't care, then that's your problem. You can't just expect her to change her life because you no longer think that it's okay. And yes, I smoke weed, and so does my husband, who has Multiple Sclerosis. I find it ridiculous that something with so many benefits is looked down upon.

I don't smoke weed, and it's not wrong for you to feel that way...as long as you have an educated reason for being so and can rationally and logically explain your emotions to her. If you are legitimately concerned and have factual support, and are respectful, then you shouldn't worry about telling her. However, you must respect that it is her decision and you should love her (or however you feel about her) regardless, even if it means you can't be with her.

Now, I actually am for the legalization of marijuana, if not generally, then at least for madicinal purposes. It makes no sense to me there are other more harmful drugs approved for treatment of illness (it actually makes some sense because how marijuana is categorized federally) when it is proven it works. It also seems crazy to me that tabacco is legal and it is much more harmful than marijuana. The government may as well legalize it, with sufficient laws, and plentiful taxes.

Smoking weed is very masculine to me. Maybe if she switched to crystal meth you wouldn't feel that way.

When I get the kramps, I do. It's the only thing that actually helps. And, yes, I have NO PROB with it being legal.

I used to but I don't anymore. It's not wrong for you to feel that way because it's just something that you don't like.
