I'm a liberal and I've known that for a very long time. That's why I refuse to belong to either the Democrats or the Republicans. Both parties have sold their souls and their honor for enormous campaign contributions. Neither party now represents the interests of American citizens who must work for their money.

I would say Dems and Reps are tools of big business, Liberalism and Conservatism can become tools for special interests.
I think that is a bit more accurate.
