Sex as it is usually referred to, is the act of intercourse between two or more people, usually just two. These two people should be married to each other according to some societal strictures, however sex outside of marriage does occur. There are different types of sex depending on a number of factors which would take much too long to go into here. Sex is not kissing, or hugging or flirting, although each of these can lead to sex. Sex by the way, is not unavoidable and as higher intelligence creatures, we should have the ability to say no if we are truely above animals which are generally ruled completely by emotions.

erm... how old are you? I think you should be asking your mommy that. But you know what? I just got a very nice email from my friend, and it put me in a relatively good mood. So I think I'll tell you a little bit about it...

When you ask "what is sex?" I cannot tell if you are asking what is sex as in gender, or what is sex as in sexual intercourse. So I'll tell you both. Sex in the first meaning of the word is used to refer to the gender of a being. As in male or female, boy or girl, man or woman, you get the idea. The second meaning of the word is... wait, how do I put this gently, for your innocent mind to comprehend... how's this?... It's something that happens when two people love each other very much, and... in heterosexual cases, the man puts his penis in the woman's vagina, and eventually (most of the time) the man's semen (which is sperm) goes into the woman's body. Sometimes the woman gets pregnant from this, and has a baby. In male homosexual cases, they have what is called anal sex. One man puts his penis into the other man's butt instead of a woman's vagina. In female homosexual sex, the women use a thing called a dildo. It is a fake penis, and they strap it on, and put it in the other woman's vagina. There is also something called oral sex. Ya know what? You can find out the rest in 8th grade health class... And from your mommy.
