I dont remember a cat in that show... Is it possible you are thinking of the show Sabrina the teenage witch if so the cats name was" Salem"

There is no cat in Bewitched. The opening credits shows a black cat jumping into Darrin's arms, then turns into Samantha.
As the other responder said, if you are thinking of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, the cat is Salem.

I do not recall a cat in bewitched. The only two shows that had cats in them where charmed and Sabrina the teen-aged witch. The in Sabrina was called Salem and the cat in charmed was called kit. I hope this was what you where looking for.
