Come to think of it, I'm good for at least two major, potentially life altering revelations a year... Almost always one in spring and then another one around October.
So what does he "do" during this time? My spring time event always seems to involve a lot of money. The one in October is usually "relationship oriented".

My husband goes through it like every 4 months where he just doubts everything because he's tired or having a bad week. I think it's the pressures of life and the retarded values system we're confronted with in society. No one is ever satisfied with anything anymore. Hard to stay positive and not feel like you're missing out on something.... bad marriage, get out. Bad job, quit and pursure your dream. Can't handle pressure - drink. It's sad really.

Are you a doctor...? Well if he has the same pattern for years now and around the same time of the year...He might have a mental disorder....NOT meaning in a insulting way niether ...counsling might help you figure out how to compromise with eachother's difference's with solution's...
Would he consider counsling..? You guy's do want to work this out right..? His mood seems unbalanced kind of like mine with the same patterns...If he is unable to control them it can effect his daily life including his suroundings even relationship which is already a fact..........If it is a possibility that he have a disorder these bad moods can increase.... I would consider mental health help....It's not bad alot of people have disorders some are worse then other's.....

I'm gonna give you my take on this situation. I think all men act this way b/c it is about to be hot. And they feel it's should be time for them to go "exploring". All you see is half naked woman during the months when it turns warm and then hot. They wish they were single again so they can go "spread their wings" Not all men are like that. But that's how I feel about that.

yes, my husband does this to. he hasa few months of the year where he is very cranky and we ended up being very distant at the time, then things just get better for some reason. do your best to bear through it and just make sure not to throw fuel on his fire.

I don't notice a specific time of the year, but he all the time gripes about his job. I have learned to stay out of his way. Oh, and don't mess with him during hunting season either.

Hey I believe it. I do the same thing in the late fall. My husband always comments "I can tell when winter is coming because of your attitude". Plus...spring time is tax season...hahaha!

my husband goes through a similar stage but it in the fall, when boating season is over. is there something that is ending, like football or baseball that is really important to him? does he like the winter months better?? is it tax time that always bothers him?
