Getting a Wii HELP!!!?

Question

I Simply cant find a wii anywhere!! my zip is 66062, every time i call they give me the phrase that i simply hate "No We Dont"
o ya and ps3seeker.com/wii has changed to bidnearby.com and that site dus not work with retails so please dont give me that as an answer. if u know of any upcoming Wii shipments this weekend OR LATER plz tell me (weekend of 24,25). I will not pay the outragous prises on ebay so scratch that off too. Thanx plz help i just cant seem to get my hands on a wii!!

hey guys, like 2 hrs after i posted this message, i got a wii at bestbuy!!! i found that the trick is to ask the workers when there trucks come in and call 4-5 times around that time. Dont take the "i think were getting them this weekend" responces, ask them when exactly there shipments are coming and be prepared to go there. actually we werent really prepared, we just called and the guy said we have 4 out on the floor and i have a customer in front of me. when we got there there were like 3 yet. stores dont announce over the intercom if they got some, u just gotta be at the rite place at the rite time.

I see them like crazy on ebay.
You can catch them at a decent price if you are whitty. Unfortunately prices are overly deflated right now, because there are so few available.
(This is common with all games systems at time of release. The companies purposely do not release enough systems for the demand, raising the value of the system up.)

Oddly enough you might find a rare one at a Toys'R'Us store as the regular/heavy gamers tend to forget to check there.

Unless you want to check every Walmart, GameStop, and Target everyday to see if a shipment has come in, your best bet is to watch the stores' online sites. Most stores inform their employees -NOT- to release the information of when shipments of highly demanded systems come in unless it is the first release. (Part of the reason is that customers will complain if the said date arrives and there are no systems... no matter what reason.) At best they may give you an estimated date.

If you look in places that aren't shopped as hard, you'll have better luck finding it. I know the Metcalf South Sears had a Wii Remote earlier this week, and that was the first time I've ever seen one in stock at a store. I also believe that Hollywood Video has a waiting list that you can sign up on in their video game section.

I have no clue what zip is that but if you ever stop by in manhatten at the morning (8:00-12:00) and go to nintendo world you will definetly get one

I found mine at Target. The guy told me that their trucks come on Wed. and Sun. between 12-2pm. I called a few stores on a Wed. afternoon and came across a store that had just gotten them in.

you're in olathe, right? i'm in overland park. i've been helping my boyfriend search for one since they first came out. and you're right. nobody has any. it's ridiculous! i know that walmart doesn't carry them. check with target and see when their shipments come in. along with all of the game stores (EB Games out at the Great Mall and the local GameStops etc)

amazon.com offers new and used ones starting at 385 dollars...that's still a lot, but i thought it might help.
