It is not the money that they earn for promotion that interests them. It is the money for being in the premiership - tv rights and sponsorship earn them millions

Not sure what prize money is for winning the championship, but with Sky TV money, sponsorship etc its worth at least £15-20 million. It's even more expensive to clubs if they get relegated

They earn about 10 million on promotion and get about another 15 million from tv rights plus merchandising

it was about 20 mil but theres a new tv deal which means who ever goes up this year will benefit.

also the clubs that go down get a parachute payment of about 10 mil
