We can be prejudice against people with big noses, or who are ugly, or who are short, or who are fat, or who are handicapped, etc.. We cannot be prejudice against people of race or religion or sexual gender or sexual lifestyle.

Why do we have these differences in life?

Isn't non-acceptance wrong, no matter what? If someone laughs at me because i have a big nose, which i do, and i hate it, can't i laugh at the person because they are a greasy, scummy, poor mexican who has no papers to be in this country? Can't i call him "a no good mexican who is scummy and low and has no right to be in this country without papers?"

how come society allows hate to flourish against people, except when race/religion/gender/lifestyle issues come into play?

I can say or feel however I want to. There is absolutely nothing that anyone can do about it. THere is not one, no not one, person who is not bigoted in some way. When was the last time you heard someone stop someone from telling a racist joke, a handicapped joke, etc? You don't hear them stop anyone. They laugh at it, then either retell it or talk about how bad the person is, when they empowered it.
Dan Jenkins said the problem in today's society is not that a person can be denied service, it is that a person cannot be denied service.
Go on sweeties, call me names, thus justifying my position. Or report me, ooooooh that really hurts too.

I really do not believe you should ever make fun of someone else for race, religion, gender, age, physical appearance, or anything that person may find offensive. There is a reason why they find it offensive, and if you respect that person, you would never insult them.

But, this world is not perfect. Some people do things they shouldn't. It is unfortunate, but true.

My advice to you is not to make fun of them, for you would be just as bad as them. As the old saying goes, and as previously noted, "two wrongs do not make a right."

Unfortunately, there is no such thing as a non-prejudice person. That's like trying to say some guys don't masturbate.

The difference between a person who is prejudice and a bigot is that a bigot will speak and/or act out on their feelings. Like... I have this friend who often uses the term "wet-back" and is completely against homosexuality and interracial marriage. She doesn't keep it to herself either. Hence she is a bigot and I don't know why I still talk to her -_-

I comprehend the place you're coming from, and that i too have faith that each physique is the way they are for a reason. Afterall, very few human beings have faith that they are "undesirable human beings", whether they are bigots, murderers, despite, because of the fact of their minds, they are the two justified because of the fact of previous studies, environmental components or purely undeniable ill. the project is, as quickly as a individual reaches a undeniable age (adulthood), they might desire to be held to blame for their recommendations and movements, inspite of upbringing and surrounding components. young toddlers that have been raised via racist/homophobic parents are plenty extra probable to harbor that bigotry as adults, yet not all of them do. as quickly as a individual grows, matures and with a bit of luck will become extra knowledgeable, they might desire to be waiting to known the fallacies of their determine's damaging ideologies, or maybe the mob mentality of the ecosystem of which they grew. i'm going to admit that that is harder to conform and triumph over those thoughts, yet not impossible because of the fact human beings do it every day.

no it is not ok to be prejudiced and yes it IS NOT ok to be
a bigot -- that was confusing. God made us different and tho'
non-acceptance is not in itself wrong, the type of non-acceptance
mentioned probably is. (but this too is a human weakness)
If you care to exercise your rights to let lose with detrimental
remarks noted you probably can --however, if someone else
wants to put an end to it by the rights of a bigger backhand--
Both of you should go for it (I'm pullin for the backhand)

With the rate people are losing their senses of humor and the masses stepping forward to whine, I expect people with big noses to start demanding attention and legal action against the cartoonist that draws the Ziggy comic strip....
