Teachers these days think that just because they are teachers they get the privelage of telling us what we are and what we are not. For example, Katie, you are late and I'm like no, you are all just early. Deal with it. It can't be helped that I had to do like a billion chores before school. So sorry. Not all of us can be awake 24-7 like little robots! I DIDN'T MEAN TO DISPLEASE YOU, MASTER!!!

*ahem* not bitter.

Well, I don't think you should change for a teacher. If you can function, get things done on time and what not, then why fix something that ain't broken? Some of us function better when there is a mess. Like me. If my room is clean, it bugs me because I can't find anything and I feel pressured to keep it that way on top of all the other stuff I have to do.

If you do want to become neater though, because you want to and nobody else, then you could label stuff. Are you still in elementry? Because in my highschools, you don't have those little cubby holes in the desk, except in the science lab. If so, then you could take everything out, go through all the stuff you need and dont need, stuff you can take home ect. Then to keep organized, make sure you don't shove random things in there. Like a sandwhich for example.
If you pass notes, you can get a pencil box and put them all in there to keep them in one section of your desk. Then keep your pencils/crayons/felts ect in one box. Keep all loose paper in a binder. Clean your desk out once a week.
If you have scheduled times to do stuff like, 10:00 you do english, then make sure you have all your english stuff on top of all the other things before hand.
Good luck!

Tell her to shove ur mess up her bum. You can take the person out of the mess. But you cant take the mess out of the person. Dont change because of someone else. Be urself. If ur a sloppy bum then my hats off to ya. Because that's just part of ur personality.

Clean out all unecessary papers and garbage, clean and press your clothes and have only the books and supplies you need at your desk.

I'm sorry, but I'm the wrong person to ask. I am controlled chaos myself. I say, try to do better, but accept yourself for what you are if you're not hurting anyone else.

As long as you are clean who cares about 'neat'?

as long as you are doing well in class, just tell her that it doesn't matter how messy you are because you are concentrating on your schoolwork.
