The best advice that I have ever received pertaining to jobs/careers was: Find something that you love to do, then figure out how you can make a job out of it, then you will be happy and succesful. If you love you sail, look for a position in a boat shop or as a sailing instructor. You will be doing something that you love to do every day, and getting paid to do it.
