Yes, you are right.
At 30 percent, President Bush's approval ratings remain stuck where they have been since the GOP lost control of Congress in November. The president's approval rating for his handling of the Iraq war remains unchanged from the last NEWSWEEK Poll at 27 percent, despite an uptick in the public’s positive feelings about the situation in Iraq—up 5 points to 29 percent since January. However, that slight recovery does not translate into greater support for the president’s decision to send more troops to Iraq. Just 32 percent support the president’s approach, while 59 percent support Democratic legislation to require the withdrawal of U.S. troops by the fall of next year.

BTW, the lawyers that Clinton fired were all done when he entered his first term in office in 1993. This is standard practice for an incoming president to get rid of the previous administrations installments. Bush's firings came 6+ years into his 2 terms. And, they were investigating crime and corruption within the Republican party and congress and senate. And, bush was made that they were going after Dems. But they had gone after dems and found nothing. Bush appointed all these people himself too. What is Bush hiding and why is he firing them when they are trying to go after corrupt politicians?

Bush fired 8. It doesn't sound so bad until the reason they were singled out.

These lawyers took an oath of office, they had a job to do, regardless if the target of their investigations made the republicans look worse than they already do.

I'm not sure if we have had an administration other than this one, with so many scandals. This admin makes Nixon look like a choir boy.

Republicans danced when they made Clinton testify under oath and nailed him for lying.

I, as an American have the right to demand that those that demand tesitmony be given by a Democrat under oath, even if he is president, also demand that Rove and other bush cronies live up to that same integrity!

It's the News Media siding with the 8 Attorneys.
When Clinton fired 93 Attorneys, the News Media sided with Clinton.

Only used car salesmen are less popular than lawyers. No one is siding with the 8 fired attorneys. The left wing liberal loony Democrats are trying to create an issue so they can bash Bush.

I would invite Dog Doo to sit at my table for dinner before Bush or a lawyer...however the lawyers would be invited right after Dog Doo...Bush can eat in the yard with the other pigs.

How do come to the conclusion that "most people are siding with the 8 attorneys"? Give your source. I know lots of people who happen to agree with the administration. Me, for one.
