Not a Christian here, but how is Al Gore and his friends going to predict the worlds destruction when the Bible says it's not up to man to decide the time of the Apocolypse?

Wouldn't this also make the Apocolypse inevitable if it's the "Almightiest" choosing?

I did not realize Christians get looped into being "Al Gore's friends?" I think Al Gore is delusional. Or is that some kind of secret? When I was younger, there were a bunch of loud-mouths screaming about a new ice age. And I am only in my 40's! Some of us still put a little more faith in God's word and none in Al Gore's.

It's not a religious issue. It's matter of science.

Hundreds of scientists from around the world have made predictions and guesses based on the data collected over the past 50 years.

Some of those predictions are different than what they said 30 years ago, because they have more data now and have had more time to study it.

But predicting how much certain chemicals will affect heat retention in the atmosphere has nothing to do with religion.

It says nobody knows, that doesn't mean nobody can guess. Personally, I just think it's human arrogance to believe that we can actually break the planet in such a way. We just aren't that important. But, by biblical tradition, we were given stewardship of the planet, and it's good that people take that responsiblity seriously. Al Gore is a politician, not a scientist, and certainly not a prophet.

The scientists and Al Gore have NOT predicted the world's destruction.

They have attempted to forecast possible ecological and human catastrophes based on extrapolating climate data, but none of these forecasts include the end of mankind.

until I watched the video clips, i became unsure approximately worldwide Warming. I had already considered Al Gore's movie, yet had heard it have been debunked. i think the writer of this planet knew what He became doing. Nature is the main acceptable mechanism. I doubt that mankind can destroy it by using merely respiratory out carbon-dioxide. timber and plant life flourish on it. each and every thing in nature seems to be self-sustained. thank you for the coaching!

it is not up to man to DECIDE the time of the apocalypse, but that does not prevent men from preaching about it, and that is just what al gore is doing.

Trust me, not all Christians believe that. Only the ones who refuse to trust in God to take care of His creation.

There is NO SCIENTIFIC PROOF that global warming is man made.

30 years ago it was global cooling (look it up on wikipedia).
