Yes that is abuse.I just wish my husband said he was going to shove a twinkie down my grandchild's throat.Cause I would shove twinkie, box and all down his throat. And getting mad just cause she got it on the floor, she is a child what does he expect.I wouldn't let him around my grandkids,I would be to scared of what he may do the next time.

Obviously it is not physical abuse, but it definitely is mental abuse with a chance of it becoming physical. I would like to think he just lost his temper. We all say things we shouldn't when we get mad, but he needs to watch saying that about a baby. If he continues that sort of thing, show him the door. Your child's well being may depend on it.

Not really unless he went thru with his threat. This is just an idle threat made out of the moment but poses no real threat unless there is physical action. Also it was made to a third person and directly to the baby which wouldnt really matter as she probably thought he was funny. No harm done, no abuse

Definitly abuse!!! Emotional to you and physical to the grandbaby if he was serious! Kick him out! What a jerk!

yes very much so! he threatened to do something very traumatic to your grandbaby. that in itself should be unforgivable! i would never allow anyone to even hint any type of harm towards my children, my grandchildren or any ones child for that matter. if hes that anal than you are better off without him and your grandchildren don't need someone like that in their lives.
