YOU can't tell anyone their sexual preference, they'll figure it out on their own. Did you see him making out with these gay boys? If not, don't jump to conclusions, you're in high school, people make things up get used to it. Either way, you need to talk to him. And there is nothing that you could do to "turn" him gay. it's not your job to tell him if he's gay or not. everyone has to grow up and make important decisions for themselves. i would try to accept him for who he is and not ostracize him for his seemingly contradictory behavior. maybe he's confused and just needs a friend. : (
