i've tried erasing them. that didn't work. i tired rubbing alcohol and nail polish remover, but that just turned them purple. any suggestions?

Try the Mr Clean Magic Eraser...It advertises to work on hard stains, and I don't know "How" it works, but it got permanent marker off of the fish tank, boot scuff marks off my kitchen floor, and soap scum off my bathroom shower door! It's my new 'clean everything' tool!

Nail Polish Remover??? Mmmmmmm, not good. I was going to say rubbing with waxed paper used to work on my girl's white patent shoes about a million years ago but if you have already killed them with remover might not work. Vaseline worked too....about a million years ago!!

Try window washer fuild, or paint remover but becareful it may mess up the shoe , apply with q tip
