How to run SQL Profiler in Background ?

how to run the profiler found with sql server 2000 as a background service? is there any parameter in profiler or should i have to use a third party software for that purpose ?

If you are to a point where you have to ask yourself this kind of question, you are probably approaching your problem from the wrong angle. Profiler is not designed for that kind of use. Perhaps try posting what your issue is, and find out what others suggest good solutions would be.
