My last cycle started on 2/28, when I should have started on 3/7. However, I spotted for a few days and didn't really start until 3/2. Now I am feeling tired and my breasts are very sore. I don't think it would be my cycle starting a whole other week earlier. have a dr. appointment thursday, but I was just curious to see if anyone else may have experienced something like this and whether it is stress or possibly pregnancy. I guess I'm trying to figure out my possibilities in the mean time.

You could very well be pregnant. I did spot with one of mine. I have been late due to stress.

Good Luck!

I would say it is one of two things, either a bacterial infection ...at which will make your cycle come late which will contain and hold in the symptoms of AF - sore breasts - and make them more intense when you do get it.
Or you are pregnant. I don't want to set you up for a disappointment if you aren't.
As having lots of bacterial problems in the past two years since getting my tubes retied to have a baby, I know exactly what happens. You miss a period and get all excited and then it comes but you are still feeling all the pregnancy symptoms - but they are the same during AF and Pregnancy, so you set yourself up to believe, then you test and its negative.

That is something you can do though, at this point you can take a dollar store test and it would tell you yes or no!!

maybe your hormones are changing, not necessarily because your pregnant but a lot of things can cause to have irregular periods (stress, gain weight, loss weight, etc)

It's good you're going with the doctor, don't worry it wont be anything bad
