we met on a lesbian forum website (I'm bi), exchanged phones, improved a dialog as though we were lovers even though we havent even seen each other once, (for almost 3mo) she lives 455km apart from where i live, but we decided to meet against all the impossibility that surrounds us. the Q is, what the hell am i doing?? how can ppl become lovers without the touch of the eyes? Yes, shes got me with her way, mind & cuteness and achieved touching my heart but Im not sure that I even like her physically..I'm too confused, has anything like that ever happened 2 u? I feel it going all reverse...but yet desiring to meet her no matter how difficult that may be..

I've been in the same situation, and let me tell you, the biggest mistake I made was being emotionally attached to someone without even knowing whether there is physical attraction. It is so important to be attracted to them all the way around. How do you know their demeanor is the same as they appear to be online? You won't find that out until you meet them.

What I learned is to basically stick to the concept of being friends. That way if it doesn't work out in person, I haven't lost anything emotionally and i've gained a friend. I've been disapointed a couple of times by their appearances long before I met them.

Or keep it strictly online if it's a sexual dialogue, that will disappear if you drop the suspense of wondering who they are in person. Trust me on that one.

Doesn't sound too positive does it? However, I met one girl online and talked with her for about 6 months about everything and anything, nothing sexual, and when I did meet her, we fell in love and dated for 3 years... Best damn 3 years of my life!

well it happens sometimes, just through an impersonal interface, we still feel a connect with someone. If you really feel that strongly about this, it might be a good idea to go ahead, at least when you are sure about your own feelings. Being face to face is always a better way to know a person a little more than just through a chat forum or some such. What's exciting in your case is the thrill of a "perhaps"... you wish perhaps this is what you have been waiting for. It's the make or break situation that makes you want to take the risk. So go ahead, dive... for unless you do that , you won't know how deep these waters run.

Im sure that has happened to alot of people. Its the fact of being comfortable with that person, you can tell them i love you, i miss you and i cant wait to see you without the added attachment when you are doing internet love. Unless you are really trying to have a serious relationship, dont pursue physical pleasures and assurement. Stay away because you will get dissapointed in the long run. Good luck
