Whether people should even make such a big deal about someones sexual preference. What business is it of anyone's whether they are gay or not?

Gay rights are human rights. Between consenting adults, it isn't anyone's business what they do in the bedroom.
Marriage equality is important to achieve. It can be a secular, legal union, designed to provide protection to people who want to share their lives together. If some people think the union is 'icky', again it's not their beeswax. Also gays should be free to adopt, because we have too many children who need a home and they could provide loving, stable homes for them.

A few people have already said it best. They should have ALL the same rights as a heterosexual person. I can't even fathom why they're treated worse today than the slaves were back before the civil war. Im this day and age, we should ALL be more open to difference, yet in the United States we're going back in time. The poodle is KNOWN to be a Gay dog, does that mean it has less rights than a doberman? No, because it's STILL a dog. Gays have a different sexual preference than most humans, but they're STILL humans.

Feel free to email me concerning these "issues" I'd be more than happy to help.
My feelings are that we're all citizens, we're all human beings...we should all have equal access to all rights, liberties, benefits, protections and priveledges afforded to each and every citizen.

Let's not make it a "gay" issue. How about basic human rights for all? That sounds just perfect to me.

the term "gay rights" annoys me to death.
gay rights should not be viewed as anything other than civil rights.

They have the rights of any other person. If you prick their finger do they not bleed? They fight for your country, they prepare your food, they do your taxes. And majority of americans spit on them due to the fact that they lead a different lifestyle...For Shame on you ..
