im graduating tomorrow and have to wear a green graduation gown :/ what are you supposed to wear with it? trousers? a skirt? and what shoes etc... any ideas would be great!

i'd opt for a skirt and a pretty top.
not pants, because they obviously peep out from under the gown, and change the look very prominently
not an extremely formal dress, because you can't see under the gowns very well... plus, if you're going to a party afterward or something, it's not going to be terribly formal is it?
a short-ish, flowy skirt is very pretty, very sensible for your gown, and easy to have fun in afterwards - or try a pretty day dress!!!
try some 2 inch peep toes, or kitten heels (nothing with too skinny a heel, please - don't want to trip up any stairs!)

Wear a nice dress or skirt and blouse. A green gown would probably go well with black shoes. I liked to wear a dress or skirt so my pants wouldn't show underneath. Then I would be ready to go out after my graduation to celebrate.

I wore a nice dress under my graduation gown for the reception afterwards. You could wear trousers, but I think most girls go with a dress/long skirt.

my gown was green to, the school said that we had to wear cream or light colored skirts or trousers and suggested that we wear light colored dress shoes. congrats!!!

u should wear a light green or white knee length skirt with a (opposite form the skirt) white or green tunic or shirt. try forever 21

Umm they should have told you, but girls are suppossed to wear dresses with theirs. As for shoes, wear heels, but too high so you won't fall and get embarrassed.
