I've bought hundreds of items. What exactly are you asking, how long it takes to receive your item? It depends on how you pay, the seller's shipping policies, and the shipping method. Can you give any other details?
After your payment is received, and starting the day your item is shipped: media mail can take up to 10 days; standard mail/parcel post can take up to 7 days; priority takes 2-3 days.

Depends on the seller. I've gotten things 2 days after I paid, when the guy shipped priority the day of payment. And I've had people ship ground cross-country 5-7 days after payment, so it took 2 weeks.
Good sellers can get you your purchase within 5 business days after payment.

I have bought a gazillion things and sold things on ebay. It depends on the person that you buy from. However, if you'll look closely on the site, the seller usually makes a promise on how quick they will ship. Also, you usually have an option to have it shipped faster for a higher price.

I bought several things on ebay. It took about 10 days to ship from the US to Canada (where I am)

I do all the time around Christmas. It depends on the individual seller and where they are from. If you ordered something from Japan it could take up to three weeks. If closer usually takes less than a week but then again some sellers are slower than others.

Depends on the seller. You should receive it within 7 days of your payment clearing, if not you can complain to EBay but try and email the seller if it's taking to long.

Yes tons of stuff!! Sometimes a week to receive what I purchased but if you purchase by a check it can take longer to get the item. I purchase by E check 3 days clearing, Paypal credit card is faster and using a credit card through paypal is just as fast.
