Synonym would be, on a very basic level "flower", and on a deeper level "Argyranthemum, Leucanthemopsis, Leucanthemum, Rhodanthemum, orTanacetum" which are very closely related to the genus.

Antonym...? of flower? I guess you could look at the fact that chrysanthemum is a perennial (meaning it lives for more than two years) . I Guess you could list an annual flower like Impatients or Periwinkle which are plants that only live for one growing season.

A synonym could be the scientific name or another common name, but there can't be an antonym since its just the name for a flower (how can you have the opposite of a flower?).

A synonym would be FLOWER (or blossom, posey, bloom, etc) but I don't think common objects have antonyms.

Maybe the antonym of a flower would be a weed?
