My dvd writer code is: NEC DVD RW ND-2510A (if that helps)

I have had it for a few years, and it had never had a problem, until now. I bought some new dvd's which do not work on my burner. I have tested the new dvds on a couple other pcs and a mac and they worked fine. But for some reason my dvd writer will not write to these discs, but it does still write to my regular discs, just not these new ones.

The new discs are by a company called CMC, they are 16x -r dvds.

Please someone help me as im going crazy trying to solve the problem.

hmmm i would check your old dvds you burned, i assume your burner is like mine and can only burn dvd+r disks, but can read either

you can try to update the firmware from their site

possibly your dvd author is broken, you should use yet another dvd author force to attempt back, or maybe there's a compatibility concern between your dvd author and your burner application, you should use RZ loose DVD Burner to attempt your dvd author, that is loose and straightforward to apply, it could burn any documents or folders onto any dvd disk as records disk, it grant 2 burn engine to advance compatibility, you could press "selection" button on application substantial interface to alter Burner Engine. you could yahoo or google seek RZ loose DVD Burner and get carry of it, straightforward to apply, wish those infos can assist you to.

I get really really confused by all this, but it has something to the - and + on the discs. If the ones that it does work on are + then that might be the answer.
