Depends on how many movies you rent. If you return them quick, eventually, they will put you on a delayed delivery. They're trying to reduce the amount of movies you're renting, because that will increase their profit. As long as you aren't on this delay, the movies typically are received one to 3 business days after you mailed them back. Always depending on where the distribution center is to which you send the movies back.
Once they receive them, they will send out the next movie on top of your queue.

I get my Netflix movies in one day because they have a distribution center in my city. Sometimes I've had to wait 3 days if it's an oddball movie that's coming from a different city but that's pretty rare. I think Netflix has more distribution sites than Blockbuster (my movies from BB always take a minimum of 3 days).

I get mine about 2-3 days after I mail one back. Weekends can effect this. I also know that the mail is picked up in the mailbox at 9:30 am so if I get it there early, I get my new movie faster!

1 to 2 business days is what they try for but it will depend on how far you live from the mailing center.
