I was pondering on this thought the other day. I my self am not willing to test this theory :) , but I thought why couldnt a man or woman fall in love with 2 people? Morally it is looked down on to have 2 partners, how ever if you didnt believe in morals or did not understand the aspect of this social restriction would it be possible to love two people equally and all co exist in a relationship? . Thought this thought was interesting enough to add to Yahoo! Answers

It is absolutely possible to fall in love with more than one person.

Morals and social restrictions are usually set or dictated by religious doctrine, society groups, and legislators, 'important people' and government officials, that are in fact control freaks, that think they know what is BEST for everyone. \

Humanity is FAR more complex than that. We are capable of loving numerous people all at the same time.

The interesting part is that one never loves two different people in the same way. Every relationship is different, and has specific and different requirements. The ability to provide specific requirements to more than one relationship at any given TIME is what makes loving more than one person at any time possible. Polyamoury is a fact, not a fantasy.

it certainly relies upon on how nicely you get to appreciate them interior the time you spend jointly. Yall have spent a good form of time jointly in those 2 weeks and that's distinctive than the elementary venture of in view that individual merely on the weekends. i'm 22, i've got been in a single long term relationship for 3 years and we've been engaged. I broke it off in August and met a outstanding guy in October. we've in basic terms spent at some point aside because we met and used to talk on the telephone continuously. After 2 weeks, i became in love with him. So specific, its relatively conceivable! i understand what love is and that i understand what infatuation is. we've been jointly slightly over a month now and we like one yet another.

Oh yes. I am in love with two blokes right now and it is somewhat of a pickle... see one of them is like, my best friend and first love all rolled into one and the other is my partner of two years who I have planned the rest of my life around. I love them both in perfectly equal amounts but they are so different, one is funny the other is serious, one is spontanious and the other is structured.
I'm not cheating on anyone by the way, I don't have two boyfriends. Just two loves. I don't care what others say about your one true love and all that, it is perfectly possible.

Well its possible for a person fall in lover with two people, but I don't think the ones fallen in love with would want to be in that situation at all to know that your partner does not look at you as thier single love but really would rather be with someone else as well.

Well it happens all over the world, im not talking cheating, but in many cultures and religions men have a number of of wives. Its called polygamy, but whether the men love each wife the same i cant say. Although i have watched tv documentaries about polygamists and they seem to a have a wonderful loving family life.

God created "male and female". The marraige relation was established in Eden and has been in effect ever since. When we tamper with God's system, we are tampering with a system that is created for our best interests. When we choose to go against what has been put into place for our happiness, we only cheat ourselves.

Yes of course its possible. My 1st love and I split up over 20 years ago and I still think about him every day. I've been married for 18 years and love my husband very much but a part of me still thinks "what if". So I think it is possible, even if they don't love you back.

both easy and very possible. happens all the time. Problem with the western society and even the English language is the term "love" is all encompassing.

There are many types of love, but our culture and language (being western, english) generally doesn't accept that very well.

Interesting question, as we all have different attributes I don't think it would be possible to love two wives equally as you would have to in today's marital climate.Personally I think one wife is enough for any man to cope with and retain his sanity.
