lol - I don't think they were *ever* fooled by it, but even the most rabid of them has to know if they tick you off - call you a liar - they aren't going to get what they want!

No, because bill collectors have recieved so many excuses about the bills that's they aren't gonna fall fo it anymore. Bill collectors ar not easy to convience anymore.Trust me when I was younger my mother used to ask me help me make a good excuse to persude the bill collector. This is the best advice I can give you. I learned this from one of those bill collectors when I asked them,"What caused you to stop taking xcues" Hope this helps!!!!!

It matters on the collector. If you sound sincere over the phone, and ask them to send out another hardcopy of the bill as soon as possible, they may be fooled.

I've gotten away with it sometimes...and sometimes it's really happened!

Change of address forms are such a wonderful thing.
