Loved Borat! You can clearly see how Cohen is using the character of Borat to make a satirical comment against men with "traditional" values, undercover racists, anti-Semitic cultures, etc... How anyone missed that and got offended is beyond me.

I thought it was hilarious...and it was actually anti-sexist, anti-racist...not chauvinist at all, though the character of Borat was very chauvinist. But by portraying him in such a buffoonish, ridiculous light, the movie was a satirical attempt at condemning the ideas and beliefs espoused by the character...and anyone who shares those beliefs. It certainly wasn't glorifying those attitudes. So why would I be offended? And why would anyone watch that movie and believe that those attitudes are being portrayed in anything other than a negative light? THAT I don't get! Is someone's "satire radar" turned off?

Lol. What was chauvanistic about it? People need to stop making a big deal out of everything. I thought it was hilarious. I'd like to kick that frat boys ***, but hey.. all I can say is none of those guys are ever going to get laid agian, so the just screwed themselves.

It was unfunnier of what I thought it would be. This Borat character does not work too well over a 90 min stretch imo. But although that America bashing is getting old I had a few laughs.

My daughters loved Borat!
The dinner scene where he lets the host know that in his country the women at the table (excluding his wife) would be found attractive, "...but this one, not so much." It was so socially unacceptable it was hilarious!
Personally, I think Borat's son has beautiful eyes!!!
And that poor driving instructor! As if that job wasn't hard enough!
And the reduction so he could look like Pamela's ex! And family members "other than" the sister would be sick! Hahahahaha...
No... it was pretty tasteless...

ME WOMAN. Me like the Borat movie, because I understood what Sacha Baron Cohen was trying to accomplish comically. I find his Ali G character more offensive.

My best friend loved it, and to this day, she always brings up the scene where Borat was interviewing the feminist scholars. That was her favorite part of the movie.

NO. Not because of the chauvanistic remarks, I could see the humor in that. It was just a stupid movie.

I've only seen the first four minutes on YouTube, but it looks hilarious. You can't really be angry about Borat because it offends absolutely everyone.
