-Sporting News Magazine Fantasy Issue
**I know that Red Sox World Series 07, but I don't think closers have as much value and/or fantasy impact as starting pitchers do, especially elite options. I have no doubt Nathan and Rodriguez are great closers, but they don't provide the wins and K's starting pitchers do, unless you are talking about Chien Mieng Wang.
In addition, closers are more likely to be available on waiver pickups and free agency in fantasy baseball, since new closers emerge every year. There are several interesting closing situations to watch, such as in St.Louis, with Isringhausen and Wainright, and in Cincinnati, with Weathers and Coffey. Howry and Dempster also are competing for a job in Chicago. Will Wickman or Rafael Soriano inherit the job in Atlanta? Can Brad Lidge reestablish himself? Closer situations are often sticky and good closers can still, more often than not, be picked up during the course of the season via free agency. Remember, Francisco Rodriguez once was in this situation.

its all very relative and depends on the kind of league your in but my hitters are pujols, reyes, howard (philly), soriano, Rodriguez (NY)
usually most people draft hitters before pitchers because pitchers are mostly unpredictable
my pitchers are Johan Santana then Chris Carpenter, after that its pretty much opinion, go to rotoworld.com, they have much advice
