I'm an Australian teacher looking to travel to the UK on an ancestry visa to teach. I was wondering if anyone could please tell me a good agency to use for employment. I would like one that has a good pay rate and basically a good name with those of you who have taught in the UK.
I know to register with more than one.
I would also like some advice on where to reside whilst I am there. I would like to live between zone 1 and 3 in London, ideally. Also, somewhere where there might be a concentration of us Antipodeans in case i get homesick every now and then. ( And so i can cheer with some people from home when we win the cricket! LOL)
I have heard that it's often an idea to register with smaller, more personal agencies, so does this mean that i probably should avoid capita and those kinds of agencies??
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
