If your looking at demographics, it may say ?% are this race, something % are that race, and something% are Jews, but they don't say Christans like it's a race.

It is both. Read your Bible. The Jews are the descendants of the 12 tribes of Israel including the tribe of Judah from which we get the name Jew. The religion we now call Judaism developed over many centuries from the tribal religion of the Israelites. The deity referred to in the Bible as YHWH and Elohim and called God by Christians and Allah by Muslims and Arabic Christians was originally a tribal god of the Israelites.

The Jews are from Israel and call themselves Jews in the Bible. I believe it is both a religion and a nationality.
