I don't think one necessarily looks better/worse than the other. I think it's pretty safe to say that most people are not too bothered by the differences.

detached earlobes are much nicer- they look better when you wear earrings.

They both look ok. We are never happy with what we have. If we are short, we wish we were tall, if we are dark we want to be light, if we are skinny we want to gain weight and if we are fat we want to lose it... Make the best of what you have....

What do you mean, you have detached earlobes? Did you cut them off? If you cut them off, then sew them back on.
