Many of you are probably familiar with child labor laws and how they forbid children from doing certain jobs until they are 18. It is primarily driven by a safety concern for the child or to prevent what the government thinks is child abuse. I'm thinking that in the spirit of safety concerns, women should also be banned from certain jobs. Due to their physical and emotional differences, they just aren't equipped to do certain jobs. I think women should be banned from being soldiers, fighter pilots, policemen, firemen, taxi cab driver, governors, and maintenance men to name a few. What do you guys think?

If women weren't soldiers, police officers, and everything you listed..who would do those jobs. Not most men....some are too lazy and they think that women are only there to serve them. I actually have to agree with you. My boyfriend and I have had this conversation before. Women aren't equipped with the emotions and strengths men have. Now when it comes to office jobs like governors and senators and stuff like that, I'd have to disagree with you, but anything involving a lot of manual labor or strong emotional attachements shouldn't be done by a woman. I'm not against my own sex and I'm not stuck in the 1950's wearing pearls and high heels while vacuuming (even though I was born in 1986), I just think certain jobs were made for men and men alone.

I can't help it, I think it's funny that you make so many people mad and they answer you anyway.
I personally don't care what jobs 'get banned'. As long as they also make a law that the husband must fully financially support his family at all times, and that if there is a divorce, the man must completely financially support his ex-wife so that she does not have to work and is free to happily raise her children. Forever. Until death.

i don't think of girls human beings might desire to be banned from doing any interest that they are bodily waiting to end. i've got labored with some women human beings who ought to run circles around some men. supply me a not straightforward-working female any day!

women can do anything that men could do.
for example.
i am in a russian sambo class and i am the only girl with like 15 guys. i am able to do everything they do. it might take me 1 or 2 more tries but i can still do everything.
so this just proves that women are just as equaly created and should be treated equal as men.

I think that that's absurd I know plenty of women who can hold their own way better than some men. If a woman choses to do a certain job from her on volition she better be allowed to.

I don't think they should be banned form any job. As long as they pass the same required tests and training as men.

Oh you are an a$shole, I have worked my a$s off to become what I have. I have had male partners tell me that they trust me with their life on the street more then any other partner (male or female) they have ever had.
