I saw the movie "IT" When I was 3 and its scared me for life. I freakin hate clowns, I've never gone to the zoo or the circus because of my fear. And in my opinion the scariest part of "DEAD SILENCE" was when the clown doll was sitting on the rocking chair. My boyfriend's like me...he hates clowns. Is there anyone else who does?

See the thing was...I actually read the book when I was 16 and it wasn't so bad, but I kept replaying the images in my mind. I love stephen king, i think he's a horror genius

Dead Silence was clearly targeted at viewers that had a thing about clowns, dolls, and creepy effects. I have that thing, and I enjoyed the film...especially the part when he's driving in the car with Billy. If you want gore, hit up Hills Have Eyes 2 instead.

I don't hate clowns. I thought the scariest parts of the movie "Dead Silence" were the parts when Mary Shaw appeared. Now that was creepy.

I too cannot stand clowns...Im not sure if its as much fear as it is total dislike and distrust. When I was 6 my step dad watched "IT" with me also...im pretty sure that movie was the root for all clown fears in the last 20 years(+/-). I think its time we all unite aganst the clowns, mimes, and face painters of the world! nothing can be trusted that hides behind 4 shades of lavender (hooker or clown!)

Yes, I do too. Although. it's not because I'm afraid of them. I just think their annoying. Feel the same about mimes. The only clowns I like are rodeo clowns, they save lives. It was a pretty freaky movie. Tim Curry did a good job portraying Pennywise.

Cursed scary clowns! I can't stand them. When I was little I wandered into the living room & "It" was on TV. Yikes!
Also, I don't get real clowns. They aren't even funny; just very annoying. I really don't like those sad clown pictures, either. They are so creepy.
I have a pin that says: "Can't Sleep. Clowns will eat me." I enjoy that.

You just have to face your fears. When i was little i saw salem's lot, and since then i was not able to sleep without a blanket all the way up to my neck. I just faced my fear and little by little it went away. I suggest you learn about clowns maybe that will help

If you knew how the book "It" ended, you'd be more afraid of Syephen King, the guy is a first class low life
