please i need help my neice who is 13 has an msn account and unfortunately someone has managed to get into it. They are sending a web site through her msn using her name when you click on, someone then takes control of your computer and you can see them going through your freinds msn details. I would be real gratefull if anyone no's of any software that can tell us how to cheak the pc to find out whether or not she has any sort of hacking software put on her computer, and if there is anyway we can trace who it is. I would be so gratefull for any help she is so upset because all her buddies were in her msn and they have had the same msn as her thinking its off her so she really isnt popular at school at the moment. I no hacking is a common thing and easy to do if you no how. she has avg pretection on her pc. any help anyone could give would be so appretiated at the moment so i will say thanks now for any help.

AVG is an excellent virus killer but will not keep hackers out. For that you need a firewall, you also need anti-spy ware software. I would recommend you download the following Zone Alarm Firewall, Spy-bot Search and Destroy and Ad Aware both spy ware killers for years. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans etc. AVG does not slow the system down as much as some other products and Zone Alarm allows a lot of personal configuration unlike the Windows Firewall. They can all be downloaded from the following link. http://www.computeractive.co.uk/ On the home page select downloads and then the appropriate category. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. When you have downloaded them install them and run the two anti spy programmes one at a time.Zone Alarm will ask your permission to allow certain programmes access, only permit those you know. You can google anything you are not sure of. Finally one other programme you can download is windows defender from the Microsoft site. Run this, AVG and your anti spy ware at least weekly.Hope this helps.
