There are much more important things in life than celebrities lives but it so interesting to see how people who are rich and famous act. You would be amazed at the dumb things rich people do because they have so much money. Look at Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie who get away with DUIs because they are rich and famous. Look at Britney Spears who had two kids way too early in life because she wanted to keep her man and now shaves her head and goes to rehab and things like that. Celebs have way too much money and fame and don't know what to do with it.

Yes there are. But people wish they could have a life like the celebrities and have everything easy. but the truth is most people just want the celebs to screw up so that way they know that they are actually human and have the same qualities as they do

Because there is a lot of money to be made in reporting on them in hopes a lot of people can buy into that stuff and grow into a better fan base.
People just need to get a life if they can...

People don't have any life of their own and feel that celebrities are the best thing on God's green Earth. Basically, people are just getting dumber (some of them at least)

because people think its like wow like the celebrity is soo cool and they have more to talk about them...i think it also has to do with the shock value like increases if a celeb does something radical versus someone on the street like shaving their head...people just are mesmerized not thinking these are just people that became famous...they are not immortal..
