I'm assuming that you are asking which is harder to learn between bass and a regular 6-string (any guitar can be electric or non-electric). The bass is generally easier to learn because they usually have fewer strings. Peace.

I would say guitar is harder as you can do simpler things on bass, but both can be hard.
You can leanr some pretty impressive things on both...i would do which is best for you, have a go at both. I play electric though and it ROCKS!!! if you want to play, start with an acoustic to make sure you like it, you can get them for bout £20 if you look!

Depends on how much you want to get into it. To be able to "play," I would say the bass is easier. Less strings, less notes, but then again, the bass requires more finger strength then the guitar would. So that's a trade off.

When I feel stale playing guitar, I switch to bass for a while. I find it to be great exercise for my fingers when I play the guitar.
